A clear, lightweight, highly compressible wire-reinforced polyurethane hose that is ideally suited for woodworking dust collection applications is available from Flexaust.
Flexaust Flx-Thane® LD Polyurethane Hose is lightweight, highly flexible, abrasion-resistant, and reinforced with a bronze coated spring steel wire helix; making it ideal for woodworking dust collection applications. Featuring high compressibility, this hose is available in see-thru clear and black in a wide range of sizes with plain cut or 2” soft cuffed ends.
Supplied in standard 25 ft. lengths, Flexaust Flx-Thane® LD Polyurethane Hose comes in 2” to 18” I.D. and metric sizes with a .020” wall thickness and a 4:1 compressibility ratio up to 6” and 5:1 for 7” to 18”. Manufactured with FDA acceptable materials, this hose operates from -65°F to 225°F and resists most chemicals and solvents. Heavier wall versions are offered.
